Brodie Holmes '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Brodie Holmes, and I currently am a junior at Loyola Blakefield. I was named the captain of my varsity track team as a freshman, and I continue to lead the team to date. I believe that I differ from other candidates because of my willingness to learn in the classroom and on the track. I take great pride in everything I do and with that I put my maximum effort into all things. I truly love track and field because to the comman person it seems to be a simple sport, when in actuality it is very complex. Every time I run I learn something new about the nature of the sport and about myself. Track pushes the limits of the human body physically, but especially mentally. In order to succeed in track one must have immense mental fortitude, and I believe that this is my best quaility.
