Andrew Moriarty '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Moriarty.  I am currently a Junior at Danvers High School in Danvers, Massachusetts.  

Having competed on the Varsity Track team as a Freshman, my passion for the sport continues to increase.  During my Sophomore year, I transitioned from Basketball to Indoor Track to add a second season of running.  Now, as a Junior, I have been able to qualify twice at the State level for the mile and look to improve my marks against Massachusetts' best milers.

As I begin my college search, what really appeals to me is that, in college, I will be able to:

1) Dedicate a greater amount of time to my desired academic field of study (Engineering, preferably Aerospace Engineering)

2) Potentially run at an even more competitive level

I believe that my best running years remain ahead of me and look forward to being matched with a college coaching staff that can help me to reach my greatest potential.
