I started track around November 2021 with no thought of anything becoming of it. It wasn’t until I won my first ever race in the 110m hurdles that I genuinely fell in love with the sport, I was then put in the 400m hurdles because I was at the time, the only hurdler on the team. That was when I found my passion for the event, I continuously improved in the two years of doing them. I went from someone who had never done track, to someone who is currently within 5 seconds of beating my school record for the event. Once I have a goal, my mind is set on achieving it no matter how much work I have to put in. In two years I went from never running track, to placing 7th in the division 6 MIAA state meet.
