Tucker McNinch '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach

My name is Tucker McNinch and I am a Senior at Lenox Memorial High School in Lenox, MA. I run cross country and track for our school team. Since seventh grade at Lenox I have been on the cross country team and I have been on varsity every year since I joined the team and every year since I started my team has qualified for the state meet. I was the number two runner since freshman year and last year I was the number one runner for the team and was the county MVP as well as a Western Mass champion. My personal record for the 5k is 15:46 at Goddard Park.  .   I started track in my Sophomore year and was All County and qualified for states both years. Our area does not have an indoor track program so we only compete in outdoor spring track.  My one mile PR is 4:36 and two mile is 9:38 on the track  My goals for the upcoming year are to be cross county state champ with a PR of 15:10. and 2 mile state outdoor track state champ with a PR of 9:15.

I would love to continue my cross country and track career through college and I believe that with my work ethic I could compete at any level. I have the will power to work hard every day and the drive to continue to improve.

Educationally, I would like to go to an academically challenging school where I can major in mathematics or statistical analysis. I have a 3.99 GPA going into my senior year taking 4 AP classes and honors humanities.  I have taken SAT's one time with a score of 1400.  I plan to take subject tests in October and SAT's again in November.    I would like to find the best academic fit and running program to continue to grow in both areas.
