Matthew Wessel '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew Wessel and I'm a 6'2" javelin thrower and captain of the track team at North Andover High School in North Andover, MA. I was named to the MVC Second Team All-Conference my Junior Year. I finished 3rd at the MVC Championship meet as well as finishing first in the Javelin Relay at the Massachusetts Division 2 State Relay Meet. I'm part of the trio that broke our school record in the Javelin Relay this year. I recently set a new personal best and broke my school record with a throw of 179' 4".  Additionally, that throw qualified me for the Championship Division at New Balance Nationals that takes place this summer.
