Zane Reservitz '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zane Reservitz and I am a senior at Oliver Ames High School located in Massachusetts. I am an honors student with a 3.409 GPA. I was elected by my peers to be captain for both XC and Track.  During my Junior year I was able to run a 16:01.2 in the 5k at the Brown XC New England Championship meet in RI.  This summer I was chosen to run in the Tommy Cochary High School Mile along with 10 other top athletes selected from the entire state.  I was able to have a solid race and ran a PR of 4:34.07, even though I have had little speed work as I am deep into XC training.  This summer I attended a running camp, Team Prep USA, a high elevation camp, in Crested Butte Colorado, for a month. Attending the camp really helped me hit stride.  This summer training has been going really well from me as I look to get my times down into the mid to low 15s in XC.  When I am not running I like to spend my time working at a local running store called Marathon Sports. I also like to sail and ski.
