Hi, my name is Maximilian Fitch, or Max, and here’s my story, goals, and inspirations behind and for my future of running. Although I may have had a late start to running (my first ever season being my sophomore year of high school), I have a true passion for running. I aspire to compete in running at the collegiate level and build my love and passion for running even further. I'm a person of ambition, and when I see a challenge it's hard for me to shake the thought out of my head. Running at the collegiate level is one of those challenges that I want to face head-on even though I know it’s not going to be easy. Since I didn’t run for almost half of my high school career, I want to experience that fulfillment of running for a full four years. That would be my true dream. Instead of comparing my first ever track meet time (that being my sophomore year of high school) to my last meet (hopefully spring track of this year), I would have a fuller comparison to compare it to. Running isn't just some fad or one and done activity with me; running is my passion and truthfully, running is what helped develop me into the person I am today. Running has taught me a physical and mental grit that's hard to come by anywhere else.
