My name is Nicholas Woolsey. I've been doing track since I entered high school freshman year and fell in love with the sport. During my first indoor and outdoor season it has given me solid experience from my coaches and past teammates showing me what the sport is all about, and I caught on quickly that I have to potential to do great things. I was hesitant to run certain races my freshman year, especially the hurdles. But day by day I had kept trying and I figured out pretty early that would be my main event. I kept with it and ended up getting the most improved player award selected by my coaches, lettered in all my track seasons, and would go on to get in the sentinel and enterprise all star team in outdoor, and be a league all star. All while qualifying for states. Heading into my sophomore year I had got an injury during the fall football season sitting me out of all activity for until March. During this time is when I really grew a passion and had figured out this will be the sport I put all my effort into. I am extremely motivated and currently trying to bounce back during this outdoor track season and in the seasons to come. I have my goals set high and I am striving to achieve them. I'm excited for the rest of this season, and the upcoming seasons. I hope to continue to excel in all hurdle races, long jump, and in the decathlon.
