I've been a football player since the age of seven, and for the longest time, I never imagined I could love another sport as much—if not more—than football. But that changed when I started track in the spring of 2023, during my freshman year. From the first moment I stepped onto the track, I realized I had found something special, a sport that quickly became my favorite and completely transformed my life.
Track introduced me to a new level of competition, one that was both personal and team-oriented. It’s taught me to trust myself more, pushing me to be confident and driven, not just for my own growth, but to contribute to my team’s success. The dedication from my coaches motivates me to work even harder, striving to make them proud by giving back through my commitment and progress.
Looking ahead, my ultimate goal is to attend a college where I can continue to develop in track. I’m eager to push myself to new limits and reach my full potential in the sport that has come to mean so much to me. While I still love football, track has become my passion, and I’m ready to give everything I have to it at the next level.
