Ever since competing in the elementary 'Field Day' I have loved running. When I was 9 or 10, I would run a few miles with my Dad here and there and always race him down the driveway. In middle school, I was still in love with soccer and couldn't give it up for running, but when I realized my true potential to compete in running it was time to hang up the cleats. My junior season was the first full season of XC I have completed. My freshman and sophomore year I was only able to complete half a season due to injuries. Still during my junior track season I was limited. As I go into my senior year of XC, I have so far been able to train with no complications! My love for running won't stop at the high school level. I plan on competing at the collegiate level to continue my success in the sport. I understand the commitment and dedication it requires to be successful in running. In college, I plan on studying business and learning the essentials to earning a management position at a company.
