Growing up in Scotland has given me a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for the sport of running. I was born in Scotland, a place known for its rough landscape and unpredictable weather, which made me tough and resilient from the start. In Scotland, I discovered my love for running. Whether it was racing through the hill filled highland trails or fighting the rain and wind beside the waters, the beautiful and challenging terrain became my training ground. Running in Scotland set a sense of discipline and perseverance, as I had to overcome the elements and difficult terrain, which has undoubtedly shaped my character and made me the strong athlete I am today. When it comes to competing in meets I am always pushing myself for the best results possible, and being the captain and the number 1 distance runner of my school, Henry Ford II high school, for two years I'm not only pushing myself to be better but also my teammates that I back up with great pride. Being born in Scotland not only makes me unique but also sets me apart as a runner who has been shaped by rough trails and a vibrant running community of the Scottish countryside. This unique background, combined with my unhesitant dedication to the sport, has made me the runner I am today, ready to contribute my passion and determination to a new team.
