Samuel Maas '21 Recruiting Profile

My freshman year of high school was not very eventful. My farthest throw was 36ft. in shot put and 100ft in discus. Sophomore year I reset both shot put and discus school records. The previous for discus was 106ft 9in. I reset it to 120ft 3in. The shot put record was 46ft. I reset it to 47ft 2in.  I won districts in shot put and won third in discus. The Friday after I injured myself. My goal before I graduate is 55ft in shot and 140ft in discus. I currently am using the glide technique and having success.  In college I intend to study Aerospace engineering and throw for all of my years.  I would be a good candidate for the team because I'm a hard hard worker and I'm not afraid of new challenges. What makes me different from other athletes is how dedicated I am.  I am always training and watching videos to make myself better.
