I am not a high school, but rather a college athlete currently in the transfer portal.
I graduate college in 2026. I began my track and field career at Zumwalt North High School, where I graduated in 2022. There, I trained myself to indoor 7.10 60m, 10.76 100m, 22.07 200m and 52.3 400m. A year later, I'd attend Maryville University St. Louis, a Division II institution in Town and Country, MO. I would be ineligible to run their due to not enough core courses from high school. I trained with their team and ran unattached at 7 meets. I was able to move my personal bests to 6.94, 10.71, 22.04. Later that year, I entered the transfer portal and was picked up by Lindenwood University, a Division I school in St Charles, MO.
In November 2023, Lindenwood announced that they would discontinue 10 sports, including Men's Track and Field. This allowed me to re-enter the transfer portal and have my one-time transfer exception back. I continued to train and compete with the team until February, when I decided to depart from the team and fully train myself. Since fully investing in myself, I was able to drop my times drastically. My 60 dropped to 6.90, 100 dropped to 10.39 (2.6), 200 dropped to 21.10 (2.3) and 400 dropped to 49.99. I educated myself over half a decade to have the knowledgeability to completely train myself to these times, and executed practice after practice completely individually. It is these traits, knowledgeability and times that make me believe I could be a valuable asset to any team.
I should include in this statement that my ability to coach myself is extremely effective, so much so that I can only reasonably entertain the prospect of joining a very efficient sprint program. I hope this is understandable to all.
