My name is James Kosbar and I have been running track since my eighth grade year. I did play soccer my freshman and sophomore year but the head Cross Country and Track coach saw my potential to be a much better distance runner. I joined the cross country team and I made it to the State Championships placing 64 out of 185 runners. Because of my successful fall season, this motivated me to be one of the top athletes for spring season for Track and Field. My 4x400m relay team made it to state finals after breaking the school record in the preliminaries. We earned All State Honors with heads held high. No matter what kind of team I am on, I always motivate my teammates and I always try my best. I am very athletic and I keep my body in shape year round for Cross Country and Track and Field and that I always dreamed of playing sports in college and taking my running to a new level of competition and training. I have recently decided that I want to pass on my knowledge of running and also teach middle school and or high school students. I'm certain I can make a difference in this world no matter what path I choose.
