Casey Hanson '23 Recruiting Profile

I enjoy all sports, and am a 4 sport varsity athlete. The experience of playing with different teammates, different coaches and in different sports has helped me develop maturity, agility and competitiveness. However my competitiveness does not get in the way of the importance of being a supportive teammate.

My goals include becoming an important member of the team I join. I enjoy pressure situations and believe that I can win them. Center field and pitching are my favorite positions, but I am happy being utilized anywhere. I thrive under coaches who believe and encourage me, but I'm not afraid of criticism.

As far as education, I know the importance of taking advantage of the education I will have access to. Other than cosmetology school, none of my grandparents had a college education. Ultimately my goal is to play professional baseball, but I know I an education is vital whether I realize that dream or not.
