Personal Statement
My name is Nick Schmit. I am a Junior in High School this year and am a very outgoing person. I have done Track my Freshman and Sophomore year and will continue to participate in the next two years. I have always been a runner and plan to continue past college. On the Randolph team, I have run the 400, 800, 1600, 4x4, and 4x8.I am always pumped up for Track meets and get the entire team excited for their events.Randolph is a small school (70 students) in Northeast Nebraska; I am interested in colleges in that area. My future college major is undecided ,but my competition goals are clear. In college I hope to compete all four years and place at most meets. This year I have started running earlier in the year to train for track. I have been running 3-4 miles a day. My goal for this year is to break 2 minutes in the 800m.
