Personal Statement

Started running Cross country in July 2015. Earned varsity letters in cross country and track and finished number 2 on the team at the Nevada state championships in Cross Country. Ran at NIKE XC Southwest Regional at Casa Grande Golf Course with a time of 17:25. 24th fastest freshman time in the entire meet. Ran 10:29 2 mile in track despite battling injury for the majority of the season and missing a lot of base mileage in the winter due to shoulder surgery. Sophomore season ran 16:19 5k and earned team MVP award.
