Demarcus Walker '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Demarcus Walker, I attend Canyon Springs HS as a senior and I love track & field. I've been running since I was 9 years old. My event is the Hurdles. I run just about all of them. I didn't start hurdles until about my second year running. Ever since then I've been running them. Not to many people try hurdles because they think it's hard or they're going to fall. I chose hurdles because I wanted to try something different. I believe I can be a great addition to your team because I've seen and been through so much because of track that its a part of me. I eat sleep and breath track & field. My love for hurdles has took me all over the United States. I am blessed to be able to say i have the support of my coaches, teammates and family. Without the grace of god I wouldn't be were I am today. I keep my grades solid, If i'm struggling I get the necessary help. School always comes first so I make sure everything in the classroom is okay. I am a very independent person and I work well with others. I love track & field and continuing my passion in your program would be a wonderful accomplishment!
