I have been running competitively for three years and I am completely in love with running. It allows me to become the best me, not just as a runner but as a person and student as well. I have been taught the values of hard work since I was very young and I believe that even though I may not always be the most talented, I can always be the most dedicated and hardest working person. I believe that through effort and time, I can compete with anyone. I want to go to a program where I can become one of the most competitive runners in the country, and I believe I can reach this through hard work, dedication and being in a good team environment.
In every activity I am involved in, I go 100%. I maintain a 4.0 in the classroom, while being heavily involved in track, cross country, religious activities, community service, clubs and student leadership. I want to become the best person that I am capable of becoming, academically, spiritually and athletically, and I am looking for the team and college/university that will allow me to grow to reach my potential.
