Kevin Martinez '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Kevin Martinez I I'm currently a 18 year old Senior attending North Valleys High School in Reno, Nevada. I run track for North Valleys High School, I love to run and have a deep passion for it. The events that I run include the 4x8, 4x4, Open 800 and Open 400. I plan to run in college and looking for opportunities that will allow me to do just that.  Running is something that can open many doors for me and I'm taking advantage of just that. I been running track since my sophomore year and cross country since my junior year. I have lettered in track my sophomore year and junior year and for cross country my junior year. I have qualified for state my junior year for cross country. I qualified 4 as a individual (12 place) & my sophomore my 4x8 relay ended up winning regionals. I'm a very hardworking kid that gives it his all when it comes to anything that I do in life, you can always expected my 110% best effort. That's why I feel like I'm good fit for your program. In my free time I like to volunteer and focus on school to make sure my academics are good. School is something that is very important to me, growing up my parents have always told me the value of having good grades.
