I have been competing in track and field since my freshman year of high school, however, I only started throwing during my sophomore year. I quickly became fond of the javelin and the discus, working my hardest to become better within each discipline respectively. This reflected when in my junior year I had a near 30ft improvement in both the javelin and discus. My goal is to be able to compete for a D3 school in the javelin, and would also throw discus if given the opportunity. I have recently realized that this would be the opportunity of a lifetime, and hope to capitalize on such. Here are a few reasons why I am different than other recruits. I have a very competitive nature and enjoy facing others, and I hope that this will help to create major success for myself and your respective institution. In addition to this, I am a good student who enjoys learning on a consistent basis, whether this be in or out of the classroom. Lastly, I am not a frustration to coach and can act as a leader if it is best for a team.
