Personal Statement

Hey my name is Daniel Midgette and I just finished out my Sophomore year at Bethpage High School. My track team had the honor of representing Section 8 at the New Balance National Championship in Greensboroug, NC in the 4x400m. This year we look forward to competing at the National level again, although our team is fairly young and two of the seniors on the 4x400 relay team have graduated. In the upcoming 2016 season, I look forward to working with the team and leading by example. I believe leadership is one of my best qualities and I'm excited to begin the year as the President of my school's Junior Class. Running has been a passion of mine for some time, however I also compete at the varsity level for Soccer, Swimming, and a Marine Fitness Team.
