Personal Statement

My name is Gabriel Hostin and I am a black male student attending Ethical Culture Fieldston School. I am a 3-sport athlete, those three sports being football, swimming and track. Although I love sports, athletics, and competition, I hold my academics as my top priority and as a result, use my time wisely. I try to lead by example in my respective sports and hope that by doing my job the best I can, I can greatly benefit my team. I strive to exemplify a student athlete and I aspire to become a college athlete at a top tier school, preferably IV league.

Swim the 50 and the 100. Times for the 100 is a low 53 high or a high 52. 50 time is a mid 23. As a sophomore I was top 5 best swimmers for the 50 and top 8 in the 100 in the preparatory school league.

This year as a sophomore I started as a strong safety almost every game and I played a good amount of running back and wide receiver. Our team went 7-2.
