Kai Messmer '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kai Messmer and I am currently a Junior at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute in Buffalo, NY. I am a versatile athlete and leader who strives to improve not only my athleticism, but also my belief in team-building. I began running modified track during middle school, at the age of twelve and instantly fell in love with the competitive nature of the sport along with how it pushed me to keep improving both on and off of the track. During high school I moved through junior varsity to the varsity team. It was there that I  learned to take in each  experience. In doing so, my passion for track grew even more. Today, I continue to strive to become the best athlete and teammate possible.  I am hoping to find a school that will push me to be the smartest and strongest student athlete I can be; a school that will push me to keep improving athletically, and help develop my leadership skills.
