Max Chen '17 Recruiting Profile

Within my career thus far, I have been able to find a pretty decent amount of success academically and a some success in running, allowing me to live a pretty well-rounded life. I am very serious when it comes to pursuing my passions, and I work extremely hard to achieve my goals. Some of my hard work finally paid off when I was named to an All-Conference selection in Cross Country, an All-State selection for the Violin, or even when I received a gold medal at a local competition for Math Research. I would do anything for my teammates; I always hold my self accountable and I always go the extra mile. I would best describe myself as tenacious student-athlete; I always put in the work and I race hard for the sake of my teammates. My immediate goal is to put in a high mileage summer to build a strong aerobic base to help our team defend our Cross Country county title. I look forward to continue pour my heart into everything I do, both academically and athletically in college.
