As a track athlete, my passion for the sport began at an early age. Progressing through higher levels of competition opened my eyes to the effort and dedication that the sport requires. Over the years I have developed a strong work ethic that has allowed me to do my best both on and off the track. Having competed in several regional and national meets in my first two years of high school and at the beginning of my junior year, I have managed to reach the status of top ten nationally in the 500m and 600m. These experiences have taught me the vitality of perseverance, discipline, and team spirit. These are qualities that I feel are integral parts of my character. Seeking the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level, I feel that I have the dedication and drive to excel in such an environment. Reaching the level of college athletics will certainly take hard work and sacrifice, and I am willing to do all that I can to satisfy the demands of any collegiate program. Being part of a team that shares my passion for the sport and can challenge me to reach my full potential is truly exciting, and I look forward to any opportunities that may come my way.
