The greatest achievement in my Cross Country career so far was running a 16:54 and helping my team make it to the North Carolina Cross Country Championships. My sophomore year was my first year running Cross Country and I had made it to regionals and that was initially my greatest achievement until this year. Being one of the best runners on my team has allowed me to develop and as a runner and a student, but most important of all it has allowed me to accept responsibility.
I have been running Cross country and track since my sophomore year of high school. Right now I am running a 16:54 in the 5k, a 4:48 mile, and a 2:08 in the 800 meter. Although my times are not as fast as others I am working as hard as I can to bring my times down to a 15:20 in the 5k, a 4:32 in the mile, a 9:30 two mile, and a 1:57 800 meter.
I hope that whatever college I go to has a very supportive Cross country and track team which work hard but still have a good time together. I hope that the coach that leads the team supports us and trains us to what he knows we are capable of.
