Gregory Shaum '10 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Gregory Shaum but most people call me Greg. I am 5'10 1/2" I weigh 170. I have ran Track at Clear Fork since my sophomore year. In my sophomore year I was third on the team in points scored behind two seniors also, in my sophomore year I was the teams field events MVP award. At the Ohio Cardinal Conference meet my sophomore year I placed fourth in the high jump and fourth in the 800m. At the Division 2 District meet in Oak Harbor, Ohio I placed seventh in the high jump. In my junior year I lead the team in points scored and repeated as the field events MVP. During my junior year at the Ohio Cardinal Conference meet I won the high jump and placed fourth in the 4x800 and sixth in the 400m. At the At the Division 2 District meet in Oak Harbor, Ohio I placed fifth in the high jump.I would like to go to a college in the south because of the weather difference. I would like to go to a medium sized Division 2 school but i wouldnt mind going to a smaller or larger school. the major i am looking into is Law Enforcement or Physical Education. My family will qualify for financial aid because i have 6 siblings. My goals for my college career in track is to be on a team that i can impact and help win.
