Matt Parker '18 Recruiting Profile

I started running my sophomore year of high school and I believe it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I had played football from 6th to 9th grade but I had never felt more "at home" in a sport. In my first year of XC I was the top varsity runner and I earned conference honors. Then in track I placed 4th in the 3200 in our conference championship. This past junior cross country season had its ups and downs but I managed to drop my time by over a minute and I was only a few places away from regionals/state. This track season I'm looking to win our conference and move on to regionals or further.
