Zach Harrah '17 Recruiting Profile

I started to pole vault in seventh grade. Every day was a learning experience. It was all new to me, exciting and challenging all at the same time. Since my first year of vaulting, I have strived to improve each and every day. Each year I have improved my vaulting height by 1''-6" to 2'-0". My goal is to pole vault at a collegiate level and beyond. I competed at Varsity level as a Freshman on my high school team. I work hard on a daily basis on and off the track with drills and training to improve and push myself to reach my goals. I strive to be a leader on my team and among my peers. I try to share what I have learned in training by helping with our Middle School track team. I consider myself to be very coachable and will work hard as a team member to help the team achieve it's goals. I am a two sport athlete. I also play basketball for my school team. This past season I competed at the JV/Varsity Level as a sophomore.
