Lucas Polkinghorn '25 Recruiting Profile

I am an excellent student-athlete who has been in honors or accelerated classes my whole life. I am also a two-sport athlete. I have been the number one scorer for my high school in track and field. I was the first freshman to become the league champion in my school’s history, winning the High Jump, and as a sophomore, I came second in our League in the high jump and third in the long jump, I also became a national champ my sophomore indoor season. As a Junior before the outdoor season, I was able to clear 6'7".  Now with the end of my Junior Indoor season, I was able to medal in three events at states and win Adidas National Elite for the second year in a row. I am also a varsity basketball player and contributed to our team's success. As a teammate, I am very well-rounded. So I’m just an overall athlete who can adapt to any situation that is given to me. With my determination and with the right school I can be a Multi Event Athlete and possibly even a Decathlon Athlete.
