2020 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Sai Brazier and I have been running distance since 7th grade. I have come to really enjoy the discipline, hard work, and dedication required to become a successful athlete. I also feel like the sport has taught me many valuable life lessons.
Some of my biggest strengths are resiliency and leadership. I’ve experienced setbacks in different ways but I‘ve learned how to be a problem solver and to be optimistic in any circumstance. I‘ve learned too much about the life of running to not continue it, so I want to take my competitive spirit to the next level and see what I’m really capable of doing. And there is no better way of doing that than to be a part of team culture that holds the same values as I do.
