Hello,
My name is Gideon Beasley, I run track for Versailles High School, I am in the class of 2026. Academics are important to me, I have a 3.73 gpa. I have been accepted into the National Honor Society. I have a 21 on the ACT. I am involved in my church, a member of my church youth group, and also a member of our school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes club.
I have been a top point scorer for my team since I was a freshman. I am the number one hurdler on my team. My 110 meter hurdles pr is 14.57, and my best 300 meter hurdles time is 41.24. My coaches view me as someone who can be used in many different events spanning from the 100 to the 800, including multiple relays. I have been pole vaulting along with hurdles and sprints, with hurdles being my primary focus (especially the 110) Since track ended this year I have been working out with a personal trainer 3 or more times a week with an intense training plan. I will be continuing to workout with the trainer throughout all of high school, year round. The name of my trainer is Vargo Trained. I also workout in off season workouts with my track team 2 days a week, and workout with an individual hurdles college athlete two times a week. I have had several comments about how I am already much faster than I was in previous track seasons. My previous times do not reflect any additional workouts besides what I had at normal track practices. I would love to chat with you about what becoming a college level hurdler would look like for me after high school, as I intend to improve and get faster as high school track continues. I look forward to hearing from you.
