I am excited about moving forward with my college goals. I am working hard on finishing my senior year in high school strong so that I am ready to begin college. In college, I look forward to learning new things and building the skills I need to have a successful career. I plan on studying marketing while I continue to run in cross country and track for my college.
People that know me well, know that I am extremely dedicated and hard working. In the second grade, I was diagnosed with dyslexia. While having dyslexia is great for thinking outside the box and seeing the bigger picture, it made learning reading and spelling difficult. I learned how to work harder than most and never took the easy way out. I apply this same attitude to sports. I work hard. I practice extra. I do not complain and encourage my teammates. I have had the fortune to be on cross country and track teams that are close-knit and positive. I want to continue to enjoy the challenge and camaraderie of running and learning.
