188' 3" Practice ...
182' 5" - 7 step ...I started track and field Freshman Year in 2020 and instantly fell in love with throwing Javelin. I loved the throwing family and how we supported each other to throw well and hit PRs. Even though track and field is an individual sport and at the end of the day it's me against me, my team would cheer me on, and I would cheer them on to beat the opponents.
In 2020 my Freshman Year was very successful, I immediately joined varsity and the men's team never lost a district dual meet. Sophomore Year was successful as well, I had taken up private coaching with a teammate's father who pushed me to a 158' PR and my first state meet while our team once again went undefeated in dual meets.
In 2023 I became a junior and took over leadership of the throwers: I taught all three throws, form in the weight room, and supported each person individually so we could succeed as a team. Once again, our team went undefeated in dual meets. However, at the very end of the season I stretched my UCL and finished with a 161' PR and no state appearance; this fueled me to recover over summer and get stronger.
2023 Summer I joined Club Track and spent six days a week in the weight room and as of mid-August I'm throwing in the mid 180's. For my senior season I know I'm going to be throwing in the 190's and 200's at the beginning of the season, and by the end of the year I want to win state with a 220+ foot throw.
Overall, I'm devoted to this sport and my team, and I won't stop until I can meet my goals and push my teammates to victory.
