Personal Statement

My name is Ethan Kline and I am a member of the 2026 throwing class. I believe that I would be a good candidate for your team as I am a hard worker, self-starter, dedicated and a leader by example. These qualities make me different from other recruits because I will put in the time necessary to improve my distances as I will not only be the first one to practice and the last one to leave but you will also find me practicing in my free time. Furthermore, I constantly watch videos to learn and improve my event techniques as I have taught myself how to throw each implement. In addition to my hard work on the field, I also try to work hard in the classroom by keeping my up GPA. Lastly, I would like to be a part of a team that is competitive in their division while constantly improving my distances to compete at NCAA Championships.
