Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to view my profile. I strive to one day compete in throwing the hammer and weight at a high level in college. My parents have pushed me to play sports to the best of my ability since I was 4 years old. I have kept that competitive drive throughout my life and into high school. My freshman year I decided to try throwing because my entire family including my grandparents were very track oriented. I found success throwing varsity weight throughout the year and taking 4th place at the indoor freshman state championship. Through the support of my family and teammates I kept improving to where I am at now. I realized from my coach, fellow throwers, and even other schools coaches that I had a knack for throwing and I could do something positive with it. This made me think I could pursue throwing at an even higher level after high school. I intend to continue to improve throughout my last two years of high school. I also participate in Football and Lacrosse and Rhode Island Division I levels. I think I would be a great fit on any college team because I know I have what it takes to be successful and make a positive impact on the team.
