2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Over the 5 years that I have been pole vaulting I have loved and enjoyed every second of it. I live off competition, it fuels and drives me. By the end of my sophomore year I Prd at 12'6, a whole 2'6 above my freshman pr. I love this sport and I practice any chance I can get, my mistakes, my friends and competitors drive, teach, and push me. Every time I compete or go to my club practices I try to stay in my own mind and focus on my own growth while I also try to meet new people and make connections.
I want to compete at the college level, PV has started to really become apart of me. It always fun to see the younger kids on my reach their goals, as well as help them as much as I can. I have made some awesome friends from my club team, and love competing against them at meets, we try to push each other, but in the end we all want to win. In my Junior year I've Prd by 2'.
Being at a college prep school as well as being a three sport athlete takes a lot of time. I have quit Football and Swim in order to focus full time on PV.

- I attend club Pole vault for two hours once during the week on tuesday nights .... i have school sports practice everyday after school for 2 hours. I then attend club pole vault on the weekend Sunday for 2+ hours.
