Ty Robinson '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been throwing the shot put since 7th grade and triple jumping since my Freshman year.  I have also thrown the discus, long jump and ran the 4x400 Relay at meets when my coaches needed me, but my primary focus of training has been on the shot put and triple jump.

My collegiate goals are to attend a college that will challenge me academically as well as competitively in my event and become a Decathlete; with aspirations of becoming an NCAA Champion and MVP that I plan to use as a platform to fulfill my other goal of becoming an Olympian.  Upon completion of college I will have obtained a degree in Health Science and plan to further my education by attending Medical School where I would fulfill my career goal as an Orthopedic Surgeon.

What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I strive to be the best that I can be.  I am a hard worker in the classroom where I maintain a high GPA and on the field.  I listen constructively to my coaches; paying attention to detail and following instructions so that I can improve overall as an athlete.
