Personal Statement
I've always held myself to higher goals my whole life, and luckily I've been blessed to have people in my life guide me and keep me on the right path, and that has had a grand impact on how I go about myself. Growing up I always knew I wanted to be an athlete and at that point I didn't care what it was, as long as I had something to strive and push for, and work at. I think that's one of the reasons I fell in love with track. Something about the drive you have to have, the character you display, and that element you have to dig deep down to find that says " I can do this just keep pushing!". But luckily I always knew that whatever happened good or bad, I should always strive for better, but I also know I should be thankful everyday. Thankful for my abilities, thankful for my guidance, thankful for the fact that im getting the opportunities I am now, and I always will be that's just how I was raised; and that's something I'd like to think is special about myself.
I have learned a lot of lessons through track, and I know I can learn a lot more. But I also know that at the end of the day, someone has a plan for my life, and im just gonna do my very best to follow it. I don't know quite what the future holds, but I do know that whatever happens im gonna face it head on, and ready to go.
