Personal Statement
Never hearing of cross country or track before, I joined the team in 8th grade. It wasn’t long before a passion grew for the sport of running, a sense of accomplishment being the thing that has pushed me the most. After starting I learned that if I wanted to competitively compete I needed to dedicate myself and work for the goals I set. I’m still learning new ways to push the limits of myself and my team. I believe I have the leadership and abilities to help make an impact on collegiate level teams!
Going into high school my junior year, my goal is to maintain a high GPA, to make it to state in cross country, and be the first boy in school history to go to state in track.
