Hampton Aldridge '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches and recruiters, my name is Hampton Aldridge. I attend Jesuit College Prep in Dallas, Texas, and we compete at the highest level in the state. I run the 100, 200, 400, and each's respective relay. In college, I hope to find the right event that could progress my collegiate career. I enjoy all of the running events I do, but as of now, I am having the most success in the 400. 

I believe I am a good candidate for your Track and Field team because I bring a high motor and positive energy in and out of practices and meets. As a teammate, I'll be the biggest supporter and competitor. I will work to make myself and my teammates better. 

I believe my character is different from other recruits because I mostly always have a smile on my face and understand that all the work I am putting into anything I'm doing will be beneficial at the end of the day. In athletics, I will push myself to do better than the day before and not take a day off from improving. Whatever is needed to be completed, I will get it done. Lastly, in academics, it's the same as in athletics. I work harder in the classroom because I know that the work in the classroom provides more opportunities in sports. I desire to be a pharmacist and that is no easy task. I take pride in academics and in reaching academic goals.
