Michael Mier '21 Recruiting Profile

My Name is Michael Mier I am a Senior rising star at Americas High School with the graduating class of 2021. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas where my family has helped me grow into a strong and independent person. At Americas High School the many clubs and organizations I take part in include National Honor Society, Orchestra, Student Council, and the Trail Blazers Early College. I also take my help to places outside my school such as my involvement at my local church Saint Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Parish where I am an active member In their youth ministry and Teen ACTS community. In athletics I have been a serious and competitive runner for at least seven years. When I first started running I wasn't as good as many of the other kids, but that never stopped me. Over time I continued to be motivated and grew as an amazing runner and improved my competitive running from zero to one-hundred percent. What always motivates me every morning is knowing that everyday is a new challenge I say challenge accepted. Even though I may fall every now and then I still pick myself up, because I know a new challenge is ahead of me and I am going to take it head on.
