Daniel Lanxon '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Daniel Lanxon. I am an upcoming junior at Harker Heights High School in Harker Heights, TX. I have been throwing shotput and discus since I was 12 years old and really enjoy it. My freshmen year experience throwing at the high school level was cut short due to COVID, but I am proud of working hard to have made it on the varsity team for the 2021 school year as the youngest thrower. I also pushed myself as a virtual student to keep up with my academics and I aim to raise my GPA to a 3.0.

I enjoy competing during the summer with my AAU track team, United Track Club, and look forward to making it to the Junior Olympics. 

I do not mind being pushed and endeavor to develop my skills. I know hard work pays off and when mixed with respect, dedication and following instructions, I can't help but succeed and be an asset to my future collegiate family.
