Personal Statement

My name is Kamar Johnson. I am from Houston, Texas. I am a high school senior, class of 2021. My goal is to attend college on a track scholarship. I would like to major in Computer Science.

Although I have participated in different sports, track is one that I have the greatest passion for. I have been in track and field since I was 6 years old. Of all the events, running hurdles has become my passion. Even though I haven't competed since March of 2020 due to corona virus outbreak cut the season short, I have been consistent with training.
