Trey Hicks '22 Recruiting Profile

Running has been a very important thing in my life.  I first started to love running in the 5th grade when my school held a 25-mile club and from then on I knew running was what I wanted to do.

I strive everyday to get better, to reach my goals that I have set for myself and to go beyond those goals.  Everyday in practice and on my own I work hard to surpass my PR'S in my next race.  The best part of running for me is the start of the race when all my adrenaline is pumping and then gun goes off.  I love that feeling.  Since I was selected for varsity XC my freshman year,  I feel like it has helped me become a better leader.  However, I want to keep growing and I know attending your college would help me become a stronger leader and be able to continue my running career.
