Alex Velez '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2020 class runner at the Prosper High school, in Prosper, Texas, Varsity since freshman year, where I have lettered each year for the PHS Cross Country and Track teams. I was a member of the first PHS/XC team to make it to Texas State Championships 5A and this year, 2018,  I was one of only two PHS XC team members who were able to qualify individually for the 6A regional UIL Region 2.  My 5k PR is 15:56, which is shy of one seconds of the PHS school record. I am team oriented, follow instructions, pay attention to detail and work well and hard under pressure.

I was awarded the Most Valuable Player award in December 2018 by the Prosper high school XC/Track coaches.

I am also a volunteer member of the Young Men's League, were I do voluntary work in our community.
