My name is Stefan Beluchi Chukuma. I go by Beluchi. I was born in 2005. I've been active in soccer since young. I spent the first 10 years of my life in Nigeria and then relocated to Dallas, Texas. I started in a non competitive soccer league and then a year later joined FC Dallas soccer team at the age of 11. I have not been able to play competitively since my freshman year of high school due a hip fracture and hamstring pull. I am currently on my high school Men's soccer roster and Varsity Track & Field. My high school Coaches and Trainers have been extremely supportive even though I have not been able to commit 100% play. I have been in a strengthening therapy program concentrating on muscle building and endurance. I recently entered a couple Track meets this Spring season. Over the summer I will continue to train with the Cross Country team to increase my endurance as well as participating in a Speed & Agility summer program. I will continue to compete for my high school during the Winter/Spring 2022-23 seasons.
I have always enjoyed sports. I come from a competitive household with my dad being an American football kicker for Hampton University and himself playing soccer. My mother played collegiate volleyball and softball. I hope to continue to play soccer and Athletics in College and aspire to play professional if given the opportunity. My cousin plays professional soccer with Impact United in Canada, Houston Dynamo in Texas, now LA Galaxy. So one can say it may run in our blood. I hope to use the Senior year of high school to deliver great results for my Soccer and Track & Field teams and use that ambition into the next phase of playing competitively at the collegiate level whilst also focusing on a University/College with good academic program.
