I began playing a variety of sports as a child, and it wasn’t until my 8th grade conditioning for football when I learn I had the ability to run middle distance and hurdles. I qualified for AAU nationals and USATF Nationals and I earned All American in all the events I competed in and a medalist for the 200mH at USATF nationals. From all of my experience, I have learned that any sport talent is not enough to be the best and hard work and discipline makes a great runner or athlete. I know that I am not the perfect runner but I am willing to listen to help me by critiquing my racing skills. I realize education is more important to become well rounded person. I love to compete to win, but not only I will push myself on the track but in the classroom as well. My main events are mid distance and long sprints. I am a leader and enjoy being a role model to others runners who want to further the running career. I am willing to look forward at any colleges or universities with expectation track programs which also has academic base I need for a degree. I will make a difference and will show true potential as runner anywhere. Running is what I love and I would be honored to be given the opportunities to compete at collegiate level. I will work year-round to work on my endurance, strength, and top speed to improve my abilities. Although I love track my academic goals remain my number one priority. Being a military child, I wasn’t able to stay with a team for a long time but I was blessed to move to an area that provided me with coaches that know my potential.
