Isaac Solchenberger '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isaac Solchenberger class of 2027, and I attend Sanger High School. For me, sports has always been a big part of my life ever since I was four years old. I've played hockey and baseball. Then middle school hit I found cross country and track, at the time I didn't know this would become my passion, but it soon became my favorite. With this journey of track and cross, I've grown not just as a runner but as a person. I have become a better teammate, and grown strong in my faith with God. Also, the people surrounding me has had a large impact on me. We have become a family not just a team, all the long bus rides blasting music to the times in the hotel of us having bible study. With this team, I have excelled as a student-athlete getting to run at the 4A state meet getting 6th in state as a team, and 2nd in regional. I am very motivated to excel in my last 2 years of high school to get the opportunity to run at the collegiate level. This year my goal has been to break 5 in the mile and I am close and I won't stop there. Furthermore, as a student, I do very exceptional and take multiple honors classes and plan to take multiple AP classes. I have a weighted 3.4 GPA. My academic college goal is to pursue an engineering major. My goal in the last 2 years of high school is to reach the top part of my class and grow as a student.
